You get your own code. Your clients redeem it in the App Store and use Kilometra Pro free for three months. After that the yearly subscription continues as normal and can be cancelled any time.
If your client uses Kilometra, you get a complete mileage log instead of scraps of paper and estimates. With accountant access you see their trips yourself, any time, without having to ask.

How access works
- 1 Your client invites you in the web view under Settings.
- 2 You accept the invitation by email, with a password or your existing account.
- 3 Under "Clients" you see trips, tax PDF and CSV, read-only.
Questions from accountants
What do I see as an accountant?
Your clients' trips with date, route, kilometres, category and purpose, plus the tax PDF and a CSV export. Private trips appear without locations. You can't change anything, your client does that in their app.
Does access cost me anything?
No. Access is free for you, you don't need a subscription. Your client uses Kilometra Pro.
How do I get access?
Your client invites you by email in the web view at app.kilometra.ch, in the settings. You accept the invitation with a new password or your existing account. You'll then find them under "Clients".
Can I see several clients?
Yes. Every client who invites you appears in your list. A dedicated overview for firms with many clients is in the works.
Does the mileage log meet the tax authority's requirements?
For every trip, the tax PDF contains date, kilometres, person visited and location, private trips without locations, and a log of all later changes, as required by the Swiss Federal Tax Administration's salary certificate FAQ.
Can Kilometra connect to the accounting software?
Yes, as an add-on to Pro. With Bexio, Kilometra books the private share of the company car directly every month, files receipts as expenses and adds trips to invoices. For Banana there is an import file with the entries. Abacus starts as a pilot: the private share in the general ledger and employees' mileage expenses as project bookings. For now we activate the module on request, just write to us.
How do my clients get the 3 free months?

Where is the data stored?
On your client's iPhone and, encrypted, on servers in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). The trips do not go to the USA, no third-party tracking.
